Vaughn had a romantic relationship with Nell Cartland and raised her son Drew as his own child after she died. He remains in an uneasy partnership with the Order of the Blade while they train Drew.
Vaughn is very secretive about his species. He's preternaturally fast and strong; sometimes his eyes and even skin glow green.
